New European Commission Framework Contract - Fisheries partnership agreements and international fisheries issues

OceanLaw is delighted to announce that it will again be participating in the European Commission Framework Contract on Fisheries Partnership Agreements Concluded Between the Community and Non-member Coastal States. OceanLaw participated in various evaluations under the first Framework Contract (2003-2006) and expects to play a greater role in the second contract, which deals not only with fisheries partnership agreements but also other international fisheries issues.

The contract will run from 2006-2009 and has a total budget of over €1.2 million. OceanLaw is part of an international consortium which is led by leading consultancy firms MegaPesca (Portugal) and Océanic Developpement (France).
