Volunteer Research
Assistants - Expressions of Interest
Ocean Law maintains an extensive panel of volunteer research
assistants who contribute a small number of hours per month towards
its research projects. We are currently looking to supplement our
existing panel, in particular with a view to developing a specific
Research Panel for the IFLPP
Project. The role will involve carrying out basic research,
primarily internet-based, and may also involve small amounts of
writing and editing.
Typically, applicants will needs to have at
least 2 years' research experience in international fisheries law or
policy research (although Panel Members may
have considerably more experience) and should be able to commit to
around 5-6 hours per month. These positions are voluntary (unpaid)
but Research Panellists are credited on the publications the work on and
from 2009 will
receive access to IFLPP subscription publications.
To
make an expression of interest, please send a copy of your CV, with a list
of publications if available, and indicate any areas of particular
research interest and the number of hours per month you are able to
provide. Expressions of interest, and requests for further
information, should be sent to Karen Sherman (click
here for contact details).
