Current Developments in
International Fisheries Law and Policy
The Current Developments in International Fisheries Law and
Policy (CDIFLP) project consists of the development, design and
eventual publication of a current developments periodical for
international fisheries law, policy and management to fill a
critical gap in fisheries information needs. Most stages of this
process are now complete and CDIFLP will formally be launched in
2008 (with the first issue due for publication in January 2009).
CDIFLP will be an electronic periodical, published monthly (but
available on a three-monthly basis in print form as part of a
subscription to IFLPR) and is designed to
provide access to the key information and developments in
international fisheries and marine living resource law and policy.
It will be built around 9 regular sections: Current Developments
Reports; International Meeting Notes; International and National
Case Law; Current Legal Materials; Multilateral Treaty Actions;
Media Digest; Literature Review; Employment and Study Opportunities;
and Announcements.
As with IFLPR, CDIFLP is being developed
as part of the International Fisheries Law and
Policy Portal suite of publications. Two “Concept Issues” have
been developed, on which the final format of the publication will be
based – these can be accessed by following the links below.
